Caius Vibius Gallus Vendumnianus Volusianus (Volusian) acceded as Caesar on the elevation of his father Trebonianus Gallus as emperor in AD 251, and was promoted to Augustus the following year on the death of Hostilian. He was murdered with his father at Interrumna in Umbria in AD 253

The coin shown is an Antoninianus with a personification of Pax holding a laurel wreath and sceptre.
