Too Much Spam

First, we don't send spam. If you get a copy of the spam shown below, it has nothing to do with us.

The following spam is one which uses our forged e-mail address (it happens to almost everybody, and is extremely easy to do), and we have received many telephone calls and e-mails from people, some angry with us, some thoughtfully letting us know, some worried.
You may wonder why we give spammers free advertising, if so read on, and you will see that we strongly suggest you avoid all spammers including this one.
Another suggestion is to forward the entire e-mail including headers to your local police and ask them to investigate.

Reasons to Avoid This Spammer

• Always avoid all spammers. The most effective way to stop spam is to boycott spammers.
• Most spammers are dishonest and unscrupulous.
• This spammer is dishonest. Note the disclaimer, it includes a claim that we have opted in, this is a lie. The e-mail addresses used are not ones which we use or give out. They can only have been harvested by a e-mail address collecting spammers robot.
• The web address quoted several times in the spam resolves to a single page on a large site. The company or individual making the offer fails to identify itself on the page.
• Accessing the root of the domain, by deleting everything after the ".com", gets the following message:- "Woa! This domain is home to many users. To visit a user's web site, enter the URL in the format of: http://www.domain.com/username/".

Shoot Spammers
Perhaps you think this is a little extreme, but we cannot find words strong enough to describe our feelings towards the selfish miserable cowardly bastards.
