2002 Harry Potter Coins
For the release of the second Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the Isle of Man released another series of Harry Potter coins.
Six Different Designs
3 Different Versions
There are three versions of each design. There is a series of 6 Manx Harry Potter crowns, each with a different magic theme.
Cupro Nickel Crown
This is a full crown sized coin, 38.61 millimetres in diameter. This is being issued in uncirculated finish and is packaged in an attractive display card
Silver Proof Crown
This is similar to the cupro-nickel version, but is struck in sterling silver with a proof finish, and housed in a leatherette box The issue limit is 15,000 pieces of each design.
Gold 1/25 Crown Coin
This is part of the "Smallest Gold Coin" series which we would not recommend. They are only 13.92 mm in diameter and weigh only 1.254 grams albeit in .9999 fine gold. They are struck as proofs and are in a leatherette case.
