Aeternity, Eternity or Stability
Eternity was revered by the Romans as a deity. She is usually holding one or more of her various attributes, all of which conveyed the concept of eternity or longevity, such as the sun, moon, earth, globe, torch, phoenix, or sceptre. Other attributes include elephants, Castor and Pollux, and Romulus and Remus.
Sol was the Roman sun god, and is usually shown standing, with a crown of sun rays, a globe in the left hand, and holding the right arm outstretched with open hand.
