The 2014 Disney Season's Greetings coin is issued by the small country, Niue. The coins are produced by the New Zealand Mint, on behalf of the tiny island. Struck in a silver proof finish, the festive coins are officially licensed by Disney.

Design

Reverse

The colour design has falling snowflakes and the words 'Season's Greetings' engraved into the silver coin. The Christmas scene features some of Disney's most well-known characters; Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald and Daisy Duck.

Obverse

The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of the Queen, as well as the year and denomination.

Tree Decoration and Presentation Box

The coin comes presented in a star-shaped display case. It has a red ribbon tied to the top, making it perfect for hanging on a Christmas tree. It is packaged in a lovely 'book-style' presentation box and would make a lovely Christmas gift, especially for those celebrating a new addition to their family this year. Each coin is issued with a numbered certificate.

Limited Mintage

The coins have a limited mintage of 10,000. When we enquired about them, we were informed by our supplier that all the coins they had were sold out. They did manage to find us a small supply, but it means that when they're gone, they're gone!
