Irish Silver One Pound Coin
Ireland's contribution to the Millennium Masterpiece Collection.
The silver one pound, or one punt, coin issued by Ireland as part of the Millennium Masterpiece Collection is issued as a proof piedfort coin, twice the normal weight, and is limited to a maximum issue of 95,000 pieces.
Description
Obverse
The harp, as is usual on Irish coins. The obverse inscription reads:

Reverse
The Broighter Boat. A design by Alan Ardiff and Garrett Stokes, based on the boat found at Broighter, County Derry in 1896, and which is on display at the National Museum, and was found in 1896. Inscription reads:-
