George V Fourth Coinage
The fourth coinage halfcrowns feature a new reverse design. For the first time in the history of the halfcrown, the shield is not shown surmounted by a crown. There are however two crowned double G cyphers at either side of the shield.

Obverse:
Modified bare head of King George V, facing left.
The obverse inscription reads:
GEORGIUS V DEI GRA BRITT OMN REX

Reverse:
A large uncrowned quartered shield. At its sides, two crowned double G cyphers.
The reverse legend reads:
FID DEF IND IMP HALF CROWN 19 28
