Blackpool Coronation Celebration Medallion George V 1911
This medal was issued by Blackpool corporation or council in 1911 to commemorate the coronation of King George V and his consort Queen Mary. It measures 38mm. in diameter, and was struck in white metal.


Obverse
The obverse features conjoined busts of George and Mary, with the inscription:
KING GEORGE V & QUEEN MARY

Reverse
The reverse shows the coat-of-arms of Blackpool, and the inscription:

BLACKPOOL 22ND JUNE 1911
COUNCILLOR & Mrs. W.H. BROADHEAD MAYOR & MAYORESS

The medallion measures 39m in diameter, and is struck in white metal.
